  29. I'm new to the list (again, after a couple of years).  I am currently 
  30. working on a project for which AMOS should be sufficient.  However, in my 
  31. internet browsing for information, I came across a comment that seemed to 
  32. indicate that AMOS has trouble with Hires Laced screens in WorkBench 3.1. 
  33.  Is this true?  I am not too concerned with unusual WorkBench modes, 
  34. because my project is intended for dedicated systems which won't be 
  35. bogged down with any fancy modes or other software to interfere with AMOS 
  36. (or AMOS to interfere with them).

  38. I'm using AMOS Professional and its accompanying compiler.  My Amiga is 
  39. an A500 with WB 2.04.  Does anyone have a list of caveats when 
  40. developing for the A1200?  I won't need any AGA information, just 
  41. backwards compatibility info for 3.1, 3.0, 2.0, etc.

  43. Can I expect my AMOS program written under 2.04 to work on a new Amiga?

  45. BTW, I have a really great file requester procedure I wrote a couple of 
  46. years ago which looks like the 2.0 or the reqtools requester, but instead 
  47. of a "Volumes" button it has "Devices" and "Assigns," like the DPaint 
  48. requester.  It needs no extensions or anything, it's just written in 
  49. regular AMOS Professional.  I thought about offering it to the AMOS List 
  50. before, but never did it.  If anyone is interested, send me email and 
  51. I'll email it to you.
